Gender is one of the crosscutting themes of SDSD project. So there are very clear gender related outputs and objectively verifiable indicators been mentioned in the log frame of the project. In order to achieve these outputs gender mainstreaming at the root organizations is needed, because they are the key to carry over the activities at the root level. So, there is a need to develop a gender analytical frame work by using which tool root level organizations will be able to incorporate gender in their yearly activity plan and through these SDSD will be able to ensure women participation in WatSan related activities at CBO/UP level as this is expected at out put level.
